Feb. 22 Meeting Announcements & Wrap Up
Announcements
For those of you who enjoy cooking, we have an opportunity for you to show off your cooking skills. At our Friday, March 28 meeting we will be having our 1st Annual MOPS Cook-off. If you would like to share one of your favorite breakfast dishes with us, just sign up on the sheet on the resource table at the next meeting so that we know what you are bringing. On March 28 bring your dish, as well as a copy of the recipe. Some ideas are pastries, muffins, french toast, egg dishes or fruit salads. We will have hungry judges on hand to award the best entries! Happy cooking!
Are you looking for a break? Do you need to get out of the house for some social time without your kids? On Thursday, March 6 we have planned a Ladies Night Out. We will be meeting at Olive Garden at 6:30 p.m. for a nice dinner and uninterrupted talk time! There are still spaces left, so contact Becky Dykhuis (531-1343 or becky@dykhuis.com) if you’d like to come.
As a courtesy to our MOPPETS workers, please remember to sign your child in and out on the sign up sheet in each classroom and please pick up your children by 11:15 a.m. Thank you!
Local author Lorilee Craker has been rescheduled to speak at our March 28 meeting.
“MOPPORTUNITIES”

• We are looking for 2 moms willing to watch the children of the steering team in the church nursery during our planning meeting on March 19 from 9:15-11:15 a.m. Your children are welcome, so think of it as a playdate with purpose. Let Becky Dykhuis (531-1343 or becky@dykhuis.com) know if you’re available to help.
• Our Hospitality Team is in need of donations of the following: hot cocoa, tea, frozen juice, decorative paper plates & napkins, plastic silverware, pop and bottled water.
