Music CDs/DVDs for Kids

Are you looking for a toy alternative as a gift for a child? Or something different for your kids to do during the winter? Why not try a story/music CD?

My mom always had tapes on for us as kids and I have to say, I can still repeat them verbatim! Here are a couple of Christian CD’s to try—these are from “back in the day”, but still VERY relevant today! Great stories and great lessons! My kids absolutely love them and have them memorized! Some of you may recognize the titles . . .

There are many options here, but start with the Kids Praise 1 album! We ordered a package deal and are giving our kids 1-2 disks at a time for birthdays, Christmas, etc.

Music Machine: Available at Kregel Parable. They have to order it, but it’s only about $10 for 2 CD’s and a DVD pack. Also available at www.amazon.com

Pingu the Penguine DVD’s: A true kids favorite. No words are spoken, but messages are loud and clear. Not a Christian film, but very cute. Even my 35 year old brother LOVES Pingu! Buy them at www.amazon.com
